Weekly Gelish & Nail Art

Hey!
So this week has seen some pretty festive theme nails and nail art, i'm going to show you a couple of this weeks clients and also some of my nails from this week after I messed around with a few ideas!

First up is a set of Acrylic nails, very, very festive!  I used Gelish Holiday Blues, and a silver gradient using O.P.I  Designer Series Radiance, followed by some Konad Snowflakes (plate m59), used konad white polish to dot on some snowfall and finished off with a hand painted snowman!

The next set was inspired by Candy Canes, I used Gelish All Tied Up With A Bow, Spicy Fortune and Gelish Sheek White for the bases, I striped the nails with Gelish Spicy Fortune & All Tied Up With a Bow!
I Loved these ones and so many clients also loved them and have had the same since!

These where my favorites! I started off with a base of Color Club Holiday Splendor (my favorite holiday polish!) but wasn't satisfied to leave it on its own!  I had a mess around with some white Konad Polish to make icicles, snowfall and a snowman face!

This set was really fun to do, it turned out completely different than I expected.  I used Gelish Bellas Vampire as a base on my clients natural nails, she didn't want anything too glitzy so decided on the while/clear glitter strands which actually turned out pretty multicoloured by the time we finished!  She loved them none the less and so did I, reminds me of tinsel!

So this is my last set for this week,  nothing christmassy about this set!  I used Gelish Gossip Girl and Princess Tiara, finished off with Swarovski Crystals and some fine silver holo glitter, one finger with Konad Leopard print and alternating matching Gelish dots!  These where on a co-worker as I love to mess around with different Ideas all the time!

So what do you think of my work this week?   Which are your favorites and which aren't so good?

See you next week!

Weekly Gelish and Acrylic Nail Art!

This week has bee quite interesting with a lot of people having festive nails but also quite bright ones too!

First up I have to show you thee Acrylics I did last week,  I loved them so much and so did the girl who had them, unfortunately I had to remove them today as my client is having an op on Friday :(.

I used a mix of purple coloured and shimmer acrylic and faded it out with clear and holographic glitter acrylic mix at the ends!  Finished of with Konad images from the Charming Nails plate,  I had a little play around with a few shades of purple for the rainbow and bird and think it turned out quite cute!

Next up is a set of acrylics with Gelish over the top, these where custom blended to get the right tones required and very, very bright!
I used a mix of Gelish Sheek White and Shake Till You Samba for the pink and a mix of Sheek White and Cocobana Banana for the yellow!  The roses of water decals and I finished the design off with Konad Polkadots, half pearls and Swarovski Crystals to tie them all in!

My final design to show you this week is another set of acrylics with a Gelish overlay in After dark, a very dark navy blue, Finished off with Swarovski Crystal clusters at the base of thumbs and ring fingers!  This design as been so popular since I first did them!  (excuse the pic quality I got a little snap happy on Instagram!)

So what do you think of this weeks work?  I had alot of fun doing these nails along with quite a few others, but these for me where the best!

Im sure I will have some Christmas Nail Art for next week!

Gelish Nail Art!

As always there is a mix of clients, some want plain colour's others are a little more adventurous.   I plan on doing a weekly Gelish nail art post on those clients who have had some form on nail art on their Gelish & with Christmas fast aproching i'm sure there will be quite a few more to come!

First up is Gelish Black Shadow,  this is very popular at the moment and we love this classic deep shine black but this week I had a lot of fun jazzing both fingers & toes up with Swarovski Crystals!  I used a mix of sizes and colours but kept both fingers the same and both toes! One of my favourites so far!

These toes are in Gelish Passion, with Gelish Sheek White detail stripes so I could create some Gelish roses!  I'm still getting to grips with the roses so excuse them if they aren't 100%!  Love how feminine these toes are and perfect for the summer (even though its winter!) this lucky lady was off on her holidays!

Please excuse the watermark on the next pic,  I only had a pic with my shops/nail bar watermark already on it but love these nails so will have to suffer!  This set have a base colour of Gelish Spicy Fortune (my favorite Gelish red!) accompanied by Gelish Sheek White dots and Gelish Black Shadow bows to create Minnie Mouse themed nails, these where for a trip to Disney!  I thoroughly enjoyed doing this set, they turned out really cute!

I'll leave you with a pic of my nail this week, I hardly ever stick to one colour as I am so fussy but they are still on after a week so we will see how long that lasts!

Please leave any feedback you have on my work I would love to hear it!
